【摘要】:ThisPubliclyAvailableSpecification(PAS)providesguidanceforbestpracticeindefining,implementingandmanagingwebsitestandardsincompaniesandorganizations.ThisPASisaimedatpublicandprivateorganizationswithpublicwebsites,intranetsorextranets,specifically:?Organizationsconsidering,planning,orintheprocessofdevelopingwebsitestandards;?Organizationswithexistingwebsitestandardswishingtoalignthemselveswithbestpracticemethodologies.ThisPAScanbeusedbyanyonewhomanages,orhasresponsibilityfor,awebsiteoramulti-sitewebpresence.Thiscouldinclude:?Global/corporatecommunicationsteams;?Marketingteams;?Brandguardians;?Websitemanagers;?Externalagenciesresponsiblefordefiningand/ormanagingwebandbrandguidelines;?ITmanagers,especiallythoseinvolvedinsettingupaContentManagementSystem(CMS)framework;?Legal/Compliance/ITriskteams.ThisPASoutlinesabestpracticeapproachtowebsitestandardsthroughoutthewebsitelifecycle,startingwiththeinitialplanninganddefinitionstage.However,itisimportanttonotethatwebsitestandardsareneverstatic.Theycontinuallyevolvetomeetchanginginternalandexternalrequirements,andcanbeusefullyaddressedatanypointinthewebsitelifecycle.Thisstatementofbestpracticeisintendedtobeindependentoftheunderlyingplatformsandtechnologiesusedinthecreationofwebsites.Specifically,itdoesnotincludeguidanceontechnologyselection,infrastructurestandards(e.g.connectivity,securityandavailability),orwebsiteandmulti-mediadevelopmentpractices.Whererelatedstandardsandspecificationsexist,thesearereferencedratherthanreproducedwithinthisdocument.NOTESeeAnnexBforalistofrelatedstandardsandresources.
