【摘要】:Theconductivityofelectrocoatbathsresultsfromthepresenceofionicspeciesinthebath,whichcomefromthevehicleandfromthepresenceofimpuritiespresentasionizableacids,bases,salts,orcombinationsofthese.Thepresenceofexcessiveamountsofionicimpuritiesisdetrimentaltotheapplicationandperformancepropertiesofelectrocoatingpaints.Thetestissuitableforuseinresearch,production,qualitycontrolandelectrocoatbathprocesscontrol.OtherrelatedmethodsfordeterminingtheelectricalconductivityofwateraredescribedinTestMethodsD1125.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheelectricalconductivityofelectrocoatbathsorultrafiltratesamplesusingcommerciallyavailableequipment.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
